The Calling

The Calling — 2018

The journey began in 2018 during a youth conference in Uganda. During that gathering, I experienced what I can only describe as a clear and undeniable prompting from the Lord. I sensed that God was assigning me to begin sharing the Good News online.

At that time, I did not have the skills, resources, or even the mindset that such a ministry was possible for me.

My understanding of ministry was more traditional: preaching in physical spaces, leading small groups, or serving in church contexts, but I wrote it down in my journal anyway.

Obedience Before Preparedness

This call was both surprising and intimidating. I felt unqualified and unequipped. However, even in my uncertainty, I sensed that obedience mattered more than preparedness.

The calling was not based on my ability but on God's initiative.

After the conference, I started slowly. I began recording short devotional messages—simple reflections on Scripture shared online.

These recordings were not polished or professional, but they were sincere acts of obedience.

These early devotionals helped me understand that God was forming not only a ministry but also my character.

A New Chapter

In 2020, my life transitioned geographically when I moved to Canada.

The move brought new responsibilities, cultural adjustments, personal challenges, and unexpected provision. In that season, my wife gifted me a camera. That camera became both a practical and symbolic turning point — I began recording and posting more consistently on YouTube and social media.

Over the next three to four years, I slowly became more consistent in sharing online, first occasionally, then three times a week, then twice, and finally once a week.

There was no quick growth or public recognition, but I kept going.

I was learning to serve faithfully even when the results seemed small.

Short, sincere devotionals began online. Unpolished, but faithful — forming both ministry and character.

When Waiting Became Part of the Journey

Even though I had been consistent, in 2025 I found myself feeling deeply stuck.

I was still posting messages, still preaching online, and still doing what I believed God had asked me to do.

But inside, I sensed that something was changing.

I chose to step back and pause.

Instead of pushing myself to keep producing, I decided to wait on God in prayer.

Running to God was my way of trusting that His direction mattered more than my activity.

During this season, the Lord placed a new idea in my heart to start a storytelling podcast.

At first, I felt just like I did in 2018, unequipped and unsure.

But I sensed a gentle invitation from God to say yes even before I felt ready.

More Than a Podcast

This podcast would not just be a place where people talk and share stories. It would be a space where God meets those who are sharing their testimonies.

Healing

A space where God meets those who are sharing their testimonies, touching their pain and struggles and bringing healing as they speak.

Faith

A space where people can be honest, awaken faith and discover what God is doing in their lives.

Evangelism

An instrument of evangelism, reaching people who may not be open to formal preaching and teaching within church buildings but are willing to listen to real and honest stories of God at work in people's lives.

“By this, I understood that the podcast was not a different calling from what God had given me in 2018. It was a continuation and a clearer expression of the same assignment to share the Good News online.”

Real Stories. Real People. Real Impact.

Stories Recorded in the First Four Months

Since launching the podcast in October 2025 and being able to record more than fifteen stories in the first four months, I have been deeply amazed by the level of freedom many guests have shown.

People have opened their hearts and spoken honestly about their struggles, personal concerns, past wounds, and ongoing battles.

These are not surface-level conversations.

They are real and vulnerable moments where individuals are willing to bring their pain into the light.

This has confirmed to me that the podcast is not only about content but about creating a place where people feel safe enough to be real before God and others.

Breaking the Silence

I have also noticed that these conversations are helping Christians who listen to realize that some topics they once considered untouchable can actually be discussed with grace and truth.

Hearing fellow believers speak openly about their struggles breaks the silence and removes shame.

Healing often begins with honesty.

No area of life is beyond God's redeeming work through Jesus Christ.

Lives are changed, saved, healed and encouraged.

When I Decided to Follow Jesus

I was 14 years old when I decided to follow Jesus.

It was during summer school break in Rwanda and I decided that I should attend this conference full of Young Adults and Adults.

I seemed so small, lost but compelled to be in the room.

The preacher was so passionate and well portraying Jesus in his sermon that was followed by an altar call.

I do not remember how I got to the front but in my heart, I was fully convinced that that day was my day to commit to follow Him.
